What’s the role

Our Development team is seeking a Front End Developer with a talent for solving problems and building engaging, modern user experiences for consumer facing brands. Someone who is able to work in a fast-paced agile team and manage their time effectively. You are proactive with ideas, eager to push beyond the first right answer and bring a real passion for ecommerce web development.

Essential Responsibilities:

Build responsive websites and web applications
Build custom Shopify themes from the ground up
You'll be helping in all elements of the Shopify frontend development process; from new projects where you'll be working closely with the creative team to craft stunning eCommerce experiences, helping advance our in-house Shopify apps and internal toolsets as we continually find new ways to improve, right through to helping optimise, maintain, and enhance Shopify stores for our existing customers.
The role will expose you to a wide range of technical challenges that will keep you on your feet and progress your web development expertise; and you'll be surrounded by a super-supportive and nurturing team, eager to help you grow
You'll work closely with multiple departments of blubolt giving you great exposure to all the elements that go into building eCommerce solutions; the design and UX team, the web development team, project managers, customer success managers, and our optimisation team
You'll be working with an interesting and diverse cross-section of brands and retailers; no one brand is the same which will give you great variety and challenges in your development work
Browser and device testing all your work
Work closely with our Designers to translate design prototypes into a fully functional website and web applications
Clearly communicate technical solutions to team members
Attending client meetings when required
Create technical documentation and contribute to internal documentation and shared code libraries

What will set you up for success

Demonstrate, evangelize and live the core values of DISRUPT (disrupt.co.kr/careers)
1 year of professional experience with front end development
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Modern front-end development background (JavaScript, CSS preprocessors, HTML)
Familiarity with JS based build tooling (Webpack, Babel etc.)
Experience or a keen interest in reactive JS frameworks (Vue, React etc.)
Knowledge of functional and object oriented programming paradigms
Understanding of server-side/client-side rendering and the pros and cons of both
Experience or a keen interest in reactive JS frameworks (Vue, React etc.)
Incorporate the passion, excitement and experience in relevant ways that inform the quality and output of agencies deliverables.
Possess excellent time management, organization and prioritization skills.
Have the proven ability to work under tight deadlines and handle pressure, while consistently paying attention to accuracy and quality of work.
Possess and deliver excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to present thoughts clearly, accurately, and succinctly.
Possess and encourage high degrees of initiative, drive, energy, accountability, creativity and maturity.
Proven ability to quickly and effectively adapt to change and push forward
